this car has been out in china for over a year now…. buick is going in the right direction with its new design.
Meh, the Hyundai Genesis is better in just about every way.
@lilmjldlc06 lexus is overrated
It’s an amazing, gorgeous car.
Yes! What would you like?
at 2:00 it looks like the new malibu…just when i thought the gm could change….this is just badge engineering.
The US is starting to smarten up. We are starting to make quality cars again. The companies are sinking more money into materials and it shows. I am a long time Acura owner and recently test drove this car….I was impressed. Cadillac is also on my short list of potential buys.
Good job Buick!!
XM sucks, Sirius is way better
COCK
ugly car, i rather get da lexus es
@davewhodavedunn
Consumer Reports isn’t the last word in reliability…in fact they aren’t even the first. Consumer Reports is the same rag that once tested both the Pontiac Vibe and Toyota Matrix, two cars that are mechanically identical, and gave them different reliability scores.
Far as depreciation goes you might ALMOST have something. That is if you weren’t wrong. A quick trip to Edmunds reveals that a loaded RL has depreciated about $31k in 5 years compared to $22k for this Buick.
I agree the new TL grille is horrible, they will learn from their mistake and change it soon. As for buick reliability, pick up a consumer report sometime and check relability for buicks…not all of them are “rock solid” not to mention the value you might think is good, but the depreciation of any gm is horrible…unlike an acura, which is rock solid!
fake acoount, eat my dick bitch
@davewhodavedunn
Yes but unlike the Acura the Buick doesn’t have a hideous grille, and several credible sources have already picked over the ES in head to head tests, so value seems pretty strong. Plus it’s a Buick so reliability should be rock solid, as it always has been for quite some time.
This is one GM I would actually buy, and I am the ANTI government motors! I just want to see the reliabilty after a few years, plus I find this car priced too high when you can get a lexus, acura for the same price!
i like this car
@nigelhalfwittt
Agreed, but I do like what they are doing with them now, and I think alot of Pontiac is being added into Buick’s production now.
GM should have killed Buick.
Basically a stretched version, in essence it will share a platform, albeit stretched, as well as some components?? Right?
nitch in the universe?
…facepalm
Oh I see, they look similar that’s why I confused the both.
Than holy crap, Buick did a good job with this one.
No thats the Regal
The Regal is a the Opel Insignia. This rides on GM’s extended Epsilon 2 platform and shares little if any components with the Regal mechanically. This car’s interior was designed in China and the rest of it was co-designed with Detroit.

Keep the art comments to yourself.
I dont you know high design.
Ill leave my own opinion if its “contemporary” or not.
Opel Insignia may share similar physical aspects with the Lacrosse but its not enough to state that its completely ripped off the Insignia.
I think it looks great overall, one of the nicest low end sedans.
you’re thinking about the regal. this is the lacrosse. a chinese buick.
