naw, i really don’t have a problem with your g5…i actually drove a brand new cobalt with 0 miles 2 hours home for my friend one time….i have to admit it was a solid car from GM…im not a GM fan by any means…but this cobalt actually felt like it was more then just a rental car this time around…and yes…i will have your delicious ass one day….XD <3 you!! manual is standard on both, auto 4 speed is optional on both cars
the non gt manual can burn out btw, so when they say it doesn’t have the power it boggles me. Also i was waiting for them to get to the gass mileage, it was nice how they said the G5 and the G5 GT get about the same and only list the G5’s MPG. Our G5 gets easy 37-41 highway, if you want to get 32 get a civic~ 8 MPG adds up, very quick quick…
In the G5 do they ever come in a manual or do you have to buy the G5 GT to get a manual one?
Why do they do that??? Like copy another car??? they do that with vans too, and trucks like the Chevy silverado and the gmc serria, then you have the chevy cobalt and the Pontiac g5, Just two to name a few but it seems like the same vehical just slapped with a different name.

my cousin has an 08 G5 and i have an 05 Mazda 3 and we race all the time, but the G5 always seems to win.i only won about 2 times lol but i love my Mazda .

no parts will not go up. look at oldsmobile they have been out for 7 years and they don’t cost any more to fix and parts are just as plentiful and cheap as they were when they were new.
I got My new G5 with the lowest price with the best incentives. But now the unbelievable incentives are gone. They still have incentives but not like mine. I’m gonna get My new 09 G5 for $7,683 All the discounts GM/incentives/cash for clunkers got me this deal. I got OnStar mylink, alloys, auto, cruise with the steering wheel streeo controls etc. The CD, air tilt etc are standard equip. and a discount for being an earlier 09
@ Gmoney3290. I don’t know about the other pontiac models… I’m sure there’s no worries, but as for the G5 it’s parts will be easy to get. The G5 IS a Chevy Cobalt made on the SAME assembly line. There are a boatload of parts for the G5 and will be for YEARS to come. Any part from the Cobalt will bolt right on the G5 anyhow. There are no G5’s left at my dealer. I got the best deal and was first to get the cash for clunkers there however I am STILL waiting to pick up my car.
since they dont make pontiac any more, does that mean the parts and repairs will get more expensive a couple of years from now

Worst car in it’s class!
I bought a 2005 Pontiac Sunfire, 51000km’s. Standard Transmission, and basic model.
Its the basic model, so no power anything (extra things that wont break). I love the subwoofer, and the interior is very nice.
Overall, I love my Pontiac!
screw the g5 ill stick with my saab.
It’s a compact car and in this video it says it has 148.
I never thought they could go crappier then the Sunfire, They proved me wrong…lol.
