SIRIUS Stratus 5 Satellite Radio Receiver and Car Kit
This is a basic Sirius radio that works great. No suction cup mount for windshield. It stinks that they charged me the $75 to transfer over my LIFETIME membership but it works just fine for me. RED DRAGONS!

I’ve gone back over the product description page for this item, and did not see any reference to a contract. The same is not true on Amazon’s cell phone page.
I previously had XM satellite radio, and I purchased this item outright from Amazon. I suppose I should have seen the terms & conditions at Sirius’ website before purchasing, but I sort of thought since my radio would just be acknowledged by their system that no contract could be required, but I was wrong. 12 months or $75 cancellation fee. What if I don’t like the service?

If you are looking for satellite radio and expect to install this using the adapter through your FM antenna, then you will be extremely disappointed in the audio quality. It is AM radio quality, at best. It is no where near CD or even MP3 quality. Using the wireless antenna to connect through your external antenna is even worse. It is a mono AM radio sound. In my experience, using the FM adapter caused me to lose some of my FM stations. Fortunately, I discovered this before I wasted my money on a 1-year contract with Sirius.

Simple function and clear reception. The Stratus is playing through the auxillary wired connection in my Ford F150. The sound is much better than playing it through a RF connection over a vacant radio channel.

This was a great addition to my car. The radio works very well and the installation was not difficult at all. Would definately recommend this product
