i was told this remote works for the AVH DVD, but when i used it only the volume and source buttons work. check functions first

The volume, att, source, forward and back are the only bottons that work on my reciever. still nice to have sometimes but most of the remote is useless.

If you are wanting to purchase this for a pioneer navigation unit, (.i.e., AVIC D2), please reconsider. This remote only controls very basic functions. Useless in my opinion.

So if you bougth a dash-in pionner radio, you should order this, It’s perfect, may be a little big, but that’s because it has lots of functions.
