Bentley | Spy Shots and Rendering | concept cars | luxury cars | Cars | Car News
Bentley is all about elegance and luxury, and those that know the name well understand that the brand takes good care of its reputation as one of the auto industry’s most esteemed car brands.
If you’re a young designer looking to make a name for yourself, creating renderings should serve as a good way to not only hone your skills, but also – if they’re good enough – to get some attention for your work.
Alexander Kotlyarevsky’s rendering of this Bentley R-Type certainly fits that bill. Keeping true to the British marquee’s reputation as a luxury automaker, Kotlyarevsky’s rendering comes with an elegant styling that’s also infused with some aggressive, modern touches that highlight the concept’s classic yet modern look.
More than the aesthetics, the young designer also gave this concept quite a powertrain featuring an 8.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces a mind-boggling 800 horsepower and 1600 Nm of torque with a 0-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 240 mph.
Judging the book by its cover, we give a lot of credit to Kotlyarevsky for the cutting-edge look of the R-Type concept. It’s certainly something we’d endorse to the folks over at Bentley.

There’s no doubt that the Bentley Mulsanne has one of the most luxurious interiors in the world. High tech material is used, all the latest technologies are utilized, and, to top it off, it’s handmade. We are not talking fake hand-made, but honest-to-goodness handmade. You can actually watch the guy sew the leather onto the steering wheel in the video. Something this spectacular would have be shown only to confirm the intricate details that go into making something of this class caliber. The video is only a little over five minutes long, but you get to watch the high class craftmanship and the dedication provided by the Bentley employees. Check out the video to see how it is done.

We present to you the Mansory Rolls-Royce Ghost. Ok, so it’s technically blue and gold, but that just might make it worse. The Swiss tuner has long been known for its controversial styling, and this vehicle follows a long line of shocking cars like the Bentley Vitesse Rose that debuted at Frankfurt. That’s not to say we haven’t liked anything produced by Mansory. We very much dug the Linea Vincero that appeared at this show last year. Is there anything we like about the blue baby Rolls? We can perhaps appreciate the larger turbochargers and upgraded exhaust system that boost horsepower to 720. Other than that we wouldn’t touch it with a ten foot pole. What Mansory calls “self assured coloring” we simply call garish, and the “styling interior refinements” are anything but. Thanks, but no thanks. We’ll keep our Rolls-Royce Ghost as is.
