Despite the rumors of the Italian super car maker Lamborghini making a SuperVeloce Gallardo, the raging bull is going to bring a factory tuned version of their more compact dream machine to market, but it won’t be wearing an SV logo. Instead the new car will focus on reducing weight as a means of going faster and will be appropriately named the LP570-4 Superleggera when the car makes its official debut in march at the Geneva Motor Show. We won’t come across any official images until a little closer to the reaveal, but thanks to the creative mind of JonSibal we can show you this rendering of what the upcoming Superleggera should look like.

The new Lamborghini LP570-4 Superleggera will weigh in at around 140 pounds less then the standard version while packing an extra 10 HP as well. The new figures will leave the LP with a much more favorable power to weight ratio and is expected to be capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 MPH in only 3.5 seconds. Thanks to Mr. Sibal and TeamSpeed we can also preview a few more of the colorful shades like Orange, Lime green and Yellow while we await a glimpse at the real thing. However we do know that because it is a Lamborghini, owners will be able to color match their leather interior to the car’s wild paint choices.

Drivers outside the U.S. are very familiar with the Chevrolet Spark, meanwhile we here in America were only introduced to the Beat alongside the Stingray Concept with the summer blockbuster Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen. Fresh for the U.K. market, the bow tie brand is offering a subtle styling kit for compact city car owners consisting of a trio of urban inspired graphics that accent the Spark’s curvaceous doors and bold rear arches that they are calling “Tags,” the best part is that they they will only set owners back £199. Not a bad price to pay for some very tasteful styling upgrades.

The new Spark “Tags” package in a few different forms; the first being a set of racing stripes running the length of the vehicle along with the lower door trim, a shimmering star pattern that speckles along the doors and highlights the sculpted rear fenders as well as a tribal style design that goes on the doors right behind the front wheel wells. Adding a unique touch that allows enthusiasts to personalize their Spark straight from the factory.

With the Lamborghini Murcielago nearing the end of its exotic production run, the Italian automaker is already underway with plans to replace the current Murcielago with a new super car. Current rumors are saying that it will be called the Jota and should be launched sometime in 2012.

In accordance with traditional Lamborghini nomenclature, Ferrucho liked to name his creations after infamous fighting bulls. However, there is no connection to the rumored Jota name, but the name was used on a very select run of Miuras and Diablos that underwent a few race inspired upgrades. This latest rendering gives us a new idea as to what the upcoming super car might look like. What we do know is that the 2012 Jota will feature a host of lightweight aluminum body parts, making it much lighter than its predecessor and will be powered by a brand new V12 producing around 700 HP.
