We know Lamborghinis are fast. We also know that some people, no matter how awesome their ride is, still can’t get enough of what they have and so they continue to tinker with their cars to give it even more bite that what it already has.

While we’re not completely sure what kind of modification the owner of this Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 did to his car, but we do know that Lamborghini don’t shoot flames out f their exhaust pipes, which this Gallardo did a number of times as it was roaring along the highway.

The flames aren’t all that big and you’re going to have to pay extra attention to even see them but trust us, you’ll notice them eventually. And while that is far from a normal occurrence from just about every other car you’ll ever find, the Gallardo’s ear-splitting power is about as real as it can get so if for nothing else, you’ll definitely enjoy listening to that supercar stretch its legs.

The next time you find yourself driving a car in South Korea, you might want to think twice about breaking any speed limits unless you want these guys on your tail.

Needless to say, the South Korean patrol cars are not your everyday Kia Rios or Hyundai Getzs. By our tally, that’s a Ferrari 360, a Porsche 911, and a Lamborghini Gallardo all serving as patrol cars for South Korea’s police department.

If you’re picturing a car chase, you’re probably thinking that the scenario would be the other way around. Supercar gets jacked and standard patrol cars give chase. Well, in Korea, the shoe is in the proverbial other foot and trying to engage these cars in a good old police chase is as dumb an idea as drinking milk on Fat Tuesday.

The Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670-4 SV is limited to only 350 units. And when we are talking about a third crash at only few months after its official launch, well, that’s bad.

There are no official details on what it really happened in here, but it looks pretty bad. So, if you have details on this please share with us!

According to the guy that took this photos, car’s series number is 000/350. Taking this under consideration this might be a car crashed during a test drive. But we can not tell for sure!

In the pantheon of all-time wasted car crashes, you can’t get any rarer than a Ferrari and a Lamborghini crashing into each other. While those incidences don’t occur too often, they, unfortunately still do, as evidenced by this Lamborghini Murcielago crashing into a Ferrari F430 during a VIP wedding reception for one of the ruling political parties in the town of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

While the cause of the accident remains unclear, both drivers managed to escape the crash without any major injuries, although their bruised egos could have led to the rather heated incident after the crash.

Witnesses said that the two drivers involved in the crash – one of which, is a hitman-for-hire, by the way – got into a scuffle with some of the folks who were trying to take photos of the crash. Apparently, these two guys didn’t take too kindly to the folks trying to capture their embarrassing crash on film.

In any case, it’s a shame that two perfectly awesome supercars ended up crashing unceremoniously, courtesy of these two fellows who seem to have taken the phrase ‘wedding crashers’ to an entirely new level.

With the Lamborghini Murcielago nearing the end of its exotic production run, the Italian automaker is already underway with plans to replace the current Murcielago with a new super car. Current rumors are saying that it will be called the Jota and should be launched sometime in 2012.

In accordance with traditional Lamborghini nomenclature, Ferrucho liked to name his creations after infamous fighting bulls. However, there is no connection to the rumored Jota name, but the name was used on a very select run of Miuras and Diablos that underwent a few race inspired upgrades. This latest rendering gives us a new idea as to what the upcoming super car might look like. What we do know is that the 2012 Jota will feature a host of lightweight aluminum body parts, making it much lighter than its predecessor and will be powered by a brand new V12 producing around 700 HP.

With the Lamborghini Murcielago nearing the end if its illustrious production run complete with roadsters and other special edition models based on it like the one of a kind Miura concept and ultra rare Reventón since it was first introduced in 2001. The Italian super car builder has just sold their 4000th example of their top of the line model to a customer in China. Now this is quite a feat considering that there were only 2900 of the previous generation V12 powered Diablos ever produced and it was around for even longer. However with Audi boss Rupert Stadler giving orders to increase production in Italy, it seems that Lamborghini’s are destined to never be as rare as they once were.

The very special Murcielago is none other than the last of its kind LP 670-4 SV made up of lightweight bodywork and wearing a wing befitting of a race car above the rear deck lid and slathered in the customary shade of orange. Powered by a 670 HP 6.5 Liter V12 the super fast Murcielago can accelerate form 0 to 60 MPH in a blistering 3.2 seconds and reach a 212 MPH top speed. At that rate it should only take the SV about 8 hours to arrive at its destination from the factory in Sant’Agata Bolognese to the Lamborghini showroom in Hangzhou.

Press release after the jump.

Lamborghini Gallardo-powered Ford Mustang on sale at Jameslist - February 9, 2010 by admin

If there’s one thing that being a car enthusiast has taught us, it’s that we should expect just about anything, even if that ‘something’ is as unlikely as Brittney Spears deciding to become a nun.

That being said, we rarely put a Ford Mustang and a Lamborghini Gallardo in the same sentence. It’s not that one doesn’t deserved to be mentioned in the same breath as the other, it’s just that they belong on two entirely different car segments, rendering any sort of comparison as moot.

While comparing the two is like comparing apples and oranges, a man by the name of John Haugh from Cleveland, Ohio, decided that instead of racking his brains to figure out which is better, he just took both cars and made it into one.

At first glance, Haugh’s creation seems to have minimal to no trace of the Gallardo but according to Haugh, the Gallardo’s contribution to his creation lies underneath the hood in the form of the 5.0-liter V10 engine that produces up to 520 hp. In addition to that, Haugh’s “Tractorri” – that’s what he calls his brainchild – also comes with the Gallardo’s E-gear sequential automatic transmission and its all-wheel drive system. As far as the Mustang is concerned, well, isn’t it any more obvious.

In the event that you fancy yourself driving this car, Haugh has listed it up on Jameslist at a price that is available upon request.

Be careful what you post on the YouTube, St. Louis exotic car employee nailed for speeding in an LP 670-4 SV - February 5, 2010 by admin

There are plenty of people guilty of posting some pretty stupid things on YouTube, however this one takes the cake. Apparently a pair of salesmen at a St. Louis exotic car dealership wanting to be more like Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond than a couple of intelligent employees posted a few of their high speed antics behind the wheel of a few super cars, like the ultra exotic Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670-4 SV, on the internet showing the world how they deliberately disobeyed the speed limit on public roads with traffic all around them.

It was kind of funny how the St. Louis FOX afiliate made such a big deal about the driver doing 150 MPH in the “slow lane,” the way we figure, doing those kinds of speeds outside of the Autobahn is a bad idea no matter which lane you’re in. Hopefully the lesson to be learned is this; if you are going to do something as stupid as this and share it with the entire world on the internet, you might as well be smart enough to take a few precautions not to incriminate yourself. Steps like not showing your face on camera or the place where you work, even blanking out the license plate. However some people just aren’t that bright, and it is thanks to those individuals that we can all feel a little smarter.

Video after the jump.
