UnderGround Racing has put together two of the most powerful supercars for a little one on one racing action. The participants are a standard Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera and an Underground Racing creation: a twin turbo Ferrari F430 Spider.

The Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera weighs in at around 154 pounds less than the Gallardo LP 560-4. The 5.2 liter V10 engine delivers an incredible 570 hp. The result is a sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds, from 0 to 124 mph in only 10.2 seconds later, and a top speed that goes up to 202 mph. That’s more than impressive, right?

But wait! Its opponent, the Ferrari F430 is even more impressive. With the addition of a turbo system with modified engine it delivers an impressive 750 HP on standard fuel and 1000 HP on race fuel. So, who do you think will win the competition?

You don’t have to worry as the company will treat your car with all of the respect it deserves! As part of the cleaning job a computerised microscope – normally used by forensic scientists – is used to examine the body work for the most inconspicuous scratch not even visible to the naked eye.

The guy behind this company has already cleaned cars like the Lamborghini Gallardo, Bugatti Veyron, and an orange McLaren F1 GTR worth $7.5 million. We guess having a pricey car wash really pays!

It’s true that weddings are, without question, one of the most important days in every girl’s life. On the other hand, if you’re the groom, the only thing that concerns you on your wedding day is how big of a hole the entire festivity has put in your bank account. Of course, if money isn’t a question, then weddings can still be as memorable for the men as they make it out to be and you only need to look at this Chinese wedding to prove it. This particular wedding had quite an automotive entourage, featuring 12 – yes, you read that right – Lamborghinis, including three Murcielago LP670-4 Super Veloce, two Murcielago LP640, five Gallardo LP560-4, and one Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni Edition.
And, yeah, there were also two Rolls Royce Phantoms in the mix, but they certainly look more like afterthoughts when lined up against all those those Lamborghinis. Whoever thought that day would come where a Phantom – two, no less – would be the featured marquee vehicle on a wedding?

But, apparently, that’s how this wedding rolls.

You think a supercharged 750 horsepower Russian Porsche 997 Turbo SPI750 by Switzer Performace Innovation can hold its own against its supercar brethren in a good ol’ fashion drag race?

If you’re having trouble answering that question, you’re in luck because somebody’s going to answer it for you. That ’somebody’ – or some bodies – happens to be the folks from Dragtimes.info and the drag race-addicted members of GT-Board happen to have a number of supercars ready to meet the challenge that is the SWI-tuned Porsche 997 Turbo.

Lining up against the superpowered Stuttgart machine includes one of its cousins, a 9ff-tuned Porshce 911 GT2, a Lamborghini LP550-2 Valentino Balboni Edition, and a V10 engine-powered, 560 horsepower BMW M3 E30.

We’re not spoiling the results for any of you, but one thing that you guys can be absolutely certain of is that these cars are no lightweights by any stretch of the imagination. So you better gear yourself up for a slobberknocker of a race – or three.

Our planet is big enough that somewhere in one corner of the world, there’s somebody who goes a little too far in modding his pedestrian ride into something more along the likes of an exotic.

More often than not, the whole experiment fails miserably and the owner is left with something best suited to be destroyed at a moment’s notice. That or he can just cut his losses and sell his ride on Ebay, hoping that somebody would be dumb enough to take it off of his hands.

That being said, if you fancy a Dodge Stratus that has been given a Lamborghini Gallardo bodykit, this one’s exactly for you. And the best – or worst, depending on your taste – part is, it’s being sold on eBay.

UPDATE: Bidding for the car has unfortunately ended. Maybe somebody did buy it.

Despite the safety precautions in place in most competitive races, there’s always that possibility that something could go wrong. That wasn’t any more evident than in Round 4 of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Cup that was held recently.

The Lamborghini Super Trofeo Cup saw a massive accident during Round 4 of the season. From what we can tell, the number 22 Gallardo LP560-4 driven by Giorgio Bartocci got off into the gravel on the last turn before the front straight.

The driver’s side door flew open as the car span down the tarmac. When it finally came to a stop, the Gallardo turned into a fireball.

Fire crews initially took longer than expected to pull the driver from the wreck and were seen using hand held fire extinguishers to battle the blaze. The FIA is expected to investigate the incident. Surprisingly, Bartocci survived the ordeal and is currently in intensive care with 1st degree burns and a fractured leg .

The Vauxhall Corsa is a car of many names. Known as the Opel Corsa, Holden Barina, Chevrolet Corsa, Opel Vita, Vauxhall Corsa (obviously), and many others, you could say that this vehicle needs a little bit of a personality in order to not get lost in the crowd of aliases. Fortunately, Vauxhall revealed today that the Corsa will be treated to a very elegant and classy Black and White Limited Edition that will be available in showrooms from next month until the end of the year.

This special edition will get glacier white bodywork, black 17-inch twin spoke alloy wheels and detailing, topped off – literally – with a black sapphire roof. It also gets a lowered suspension and sports a VXR styling kit comprising front and rear lower spoilers, side skirts, and a new roof spoiler.

The same black and white theme is continued on the interior where it gets a piano black center console with contrasting white air vents.

Prices for the Corsa Black & White range from £13,995 for the 3-door 1.2, to £15,400 for the 5-door ecoFLEX diesel.

Okay, so it is not necessarily a 2010 Lamborghini Gallardo GT600 Black and White Edition by BF-Performance, but it can still get you from point A to point B with a little class and style.
