Could this be the Audi of the future? Maybe not, but it nonetheless is a very interesting design study.
Designed by noted designer Adriano Mudri, this concept study of the Audi RS7 combines an R8-inspired rear end with Lamborghini’s trademark scissor doors.
What’s more, similar to the side-plate on the Audi R8, the whole rear part of the Audi RS7, which contains the motorization, is a unique design feature that’s distinctive from its competitors. It’s aim is to make it easier and signalize the different engine configurations and compulsion varieties. Headlights with new LED- technology, which are very typical for an Audi badged car, are reduced to the maximum and “underline” the possibilities of this technology.

In all the years of the LeMans 24-hours race, there has never been a hybrid race car that has participated in one of the most gruelling races in the world. But that doesn’t mean that we’ll never get to see one.
If the Geneva Motor Show has taught us anything, it’s that even the high-powered exotic brands are slowly focusing more of their attention on developing hybrid cars. Porsche, Lamborghini, and Ferrari were among those that even unveiled hybrid sports cars during the auto show, showing that maybe the dawn of the hybrid race car is now upon us.
Continued after the jump.

We know Lamborghinis are fast. We also know that some people, no matter how awesome their ride is, still can’t get enough of what they have and so they continue to tinker with their cars to give it even more bite that what it already has.
While we’re not completely sure what kind of modification the owner of this Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 did to his car, but we do know that Lamborghini don’t shoot flames out f their exhaust pipes, which this Gallardo did a number of times as it was roaring along the highway.
The flames aren’t all that big and you’re going to have to pay extra attention to even see them but trust us, you’ll notice them eventually. And while that is far from a normal occurrence from just about every other car you’ll ever find, the Gallardo’s ear-splitting power is about as real as it can get so if for nothing else, you’ll definitely enjoy listening to that supercar stretch its legs.

Geneva is bringing some crazy to the table this year. Porsche has revealed the 918 Spyder Concept, Audi officially debuts the A1, but also, show off an A1 E-Tron concep, and Lamborghini brings us the LP570-4. That’s all today on Fast Lane Daily. Hosted by Derek deangelis.
This is not a race- just a comparison :they may be very different from looks & pedigree point of view, but then both are stealth-like, rare, crazy, insanely fast, & holding two of the most provocative names in the auto world…the Lambo-Vector saga from the 80’s & 90’s continues, but this time,it may be the last chapter of this saga. One thing for sure: Vector fans around the world still believe in Vector,& we wait in hope that the updated & final, production version of the WX-8 would see the light of day soon. Good luck to the people at Vector.Comments were disabled on April 9th,2008. (Check out the sequel, added October 6th, 2008).
