Engines
The Taycan Cross Turismo will be available in four model versions immediately from the market launch:
Taycan 4 Cross Turismo:
This model delivers 380 hp and when the overboost is switched on, even 476 hp are possible. The Taycan accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.1 seconds and has a top speed of 220 km / h. The range is between 389 and 456 kilometers.
Taycan 4S Cross Turismo:
At least 490 hp are available here, which can be briefly increased to 571 hp with the over-boost. Acceleration to 100 km / h is around a second better than the entry-level Taycan and the top speed is 240 km / h. One electric charge can travel between 388 and 452 kilometers.
Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo:
A full 625 hp is standard here. After the overboost, you get 680 hp and the acceleration to 100 km / h is here in quick 3.3 seconds. The top speed is limited to 250 km / h and the range is between 395 and 452 kilometers.
Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo:
Here the output is also 625 PS, if the overboost is switched on, the Taycan creates a whopping 761 PS. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in just 2.9 seconds and has a range of 388 to 419 kilometers. But there is no more speed, at 250 km / h it is over here too.
The Taycan Cross Turismo can work with a system voltage of up to 800 volts and a performance battery with 93.4 kWh is installed as standard.
The high-tech chassis with all-wheel drive and the adaptive air suspension are included as standard. Those who opt for the optional off-road package get 30 millimeters more ground clearance so that the Cross Turismo can also drive on unpaved roads.
Otherwise, the driving characteristics do not differ from the sedan. The chassis can automatically lower itself for better aerodynamics, thus reducing the drag coefficient. Only common in electric sports cars, of course, the 2-speed gearbox is also installed here.
2021 Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo Exterior design
As far as the design of the Cross Turismo is concerned, it is partly reminiscent of the Panamera, which is a bit of a shame – the Taycan deserves a bit more independence. The manufacturer’s goal is to develop a car for people with an active lifestyle so that the Taycan can be the perfect companion both in the city and in the country.
So that this succeeds and the e-athlete does not have to give up the sails at the smallest pothole, the ground clearance has been increased and the suspension system has been improved. The Cross Turismo also has a special driving mode for CUVs (Cross Utility Vehicles). This should bring optimal stability, but at the same time ensure enough power and dynamic performance, even if the path is not asphalted, but gravel, for example.
A rear rack from Porsche is available as an accessory, which was specially developed for transporting up to three bicycles at the rear of the Taycan.

In the interior, you get the much-praised design of the Taycan sedan. The upper and lower parts of the instrument panel span the entire width of the vehicle and the freestanding instrument cluster form the highest point. The 10.9-inch infotainment display is standard, and there is also an optional display for the front passenger. The materials used are of course of high quality and very good quality.
