A new preview of the Ford Focus Facelift 2022. We discover the design of the rear of the renewed compact, an area that the American firm, for now, guards with absolute zeal and that it keeps intact, but will change. The Ford Focus will offer a new, fresher, and more dynamic style knowing just how right to touch up.
The blue oval brand is not exactly one that spends the most money on mid-life face washes. Volvo already warned that these simple cosmetic touch-ups that did not seem to cost a lot of money, assumed the opposite. But in the case of Ford, the manufacturer knows perfectly the elements to retouch to renew the image of the model.
The 2022 Ford Focus Facelift is in testing with a significant camo layer in tow. However, not all the changes in the spy photos obtained from the compact are appreciated. The ones at the front are more obvious, and they are the ones that we have passed you in a recreation, but the back remains intact in the test prototypes. A design that will change as much as that of this new advance, in which we show you how it will lag when it is presented.
Ford Focus Facelift will debut new features in spring 2022
Ford will retain the same tailgate, and its shapes as well, modifying the attractive taillights with a new luminous graphic, a more regular and seamless signature following the interior contours, which will make it more recognizable on the road. We hope to see this detail later, near its presentation. The bumper will also change slightly, also adding new trims to hide the exhaust pipes.
Those are the big news on the outside, while on the inside it will focus on materials and a new touchscreen for the top of the center console. It will be larger and with higher resolution, sharpness, and image quality. Ford will also include the multimedia system “SYNC 4” and will offer greater precision in the operation of the driving assistants, among other innovations aimed at increasing the quality and comfort on board.
The Focus Facelift 2022 will be released at the end of the year, with the commercial launch scheduled for spring 2022, some news that will also affect the family body. The brand will offer improvements in the MHEV petrol engines and the two available diesel engines, although the big news that we expect is the new Focus Hybrid. A version similar to that of the self-rechargeable Kuga Hybrid, with 190 hp and a 1.1 kWh battery that will allow energy from braking to be stored to power electrical systems.
