The 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor should not be missing in the new generation. While Ford has only teased the new edition of the power truck so far, X-Tomi Design already provides a very concrete outlook with its illustration. We know this about price and engine.
Where is the 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor? The presentation of the new generation in November 2021 took place without the top model. The emphasis is still on: Because that the power pick-up is considered extremely likely. And indeed, the brand already teased it on the Australian website – with a short video that visualizes February 2022 as the target date, backed by engine sound.
We conclude from this: The Raptor will probably be officially presented in February 2022, only shortly after the market launch of the new Ranger generation. The sound in the video reveals another detail: The Raptor probably does not get a diesel. You can hear a wild V6 petrol engine, which may even come with biturbo charging. This brings the Ranger Raptor developed in Australia closer to its big brother, the US F-150 Raptor.
New Ranger Raptor Engine
This is powered by a 450 hp 3.5-liter Biturbo V6. Whether it will be this V6 or a more “Europe-friendly” V6 with less displacement remains to be seen. The same applies to whether the new V6 diesel will also be dressed in the Raptor dress.
The still current model was only available in this country with a 213 hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel in conjunction with a ten-speed automatic transmission. The new edition of the Ford Ranger Raptor (2022) is likely to surpass the 500 Newton meters of maximum torque of its predecessor and receive a powerful chassis. Permanent all-wheel drive is just as mandatory as the appropriate masking.
The X-Tomi design illustration shows what these could look like: fender flares, off-road suspension, and body kit as well as the large lettering on the black radiator grille look larger in this picture than the predecessor. The interior should resemble that of the “normal” Ranger except for a few details. We, therefore, expect Ford’s new Sync 4 infotainment system with a central display of up to twelve inches in size, which, among other things, is used to select the driving mode.The 360-degree camera, which is intended to facilitate off-road driving, could also be introduced.
2023 Ford Ranger Raptor Price
It’s still too early to price the 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor. The current model starts at around 70,000 euros (as of November 2021).
