The British want to emulate their compatriots from Rolls-Royce and Bentley, monopolizing their models, their quality, and the luxury incorporated into each creation, to what these two brands offer. That is, Jaguar wants to stop being premium to be a “super luxury” brand. It is not something that can be achieved overnight, far from it, but we will see what happens.
The first step will be to say goodbye to combustion engines and for this, a more powerful version of your V8 is not a bad idea. This is at least what Nick Collins, Jaguar’s product manager, said during an interview for Autocar magazine.
