The Jeep Grand Cherokee 2022 has just stepped into its new generation, revealing a new seven-seat variant to add to its range. Luxury and technology are the main hallmarks.
The American brand presented the Jeep Grand Cherokee 2022, a version with which it opens a new generation for the SUV. The exterior design takes some elements of the Great Wagoneer Concept and in the cabin a refill of luxury and technology.
In turn, the model will be offered in four different equipment levels and its features include the clean and elegant appearance of its bodywork. At the front a seven-section grille, a more square-shaped bumper with daytime running light inputs on each side.
The dimensions of course become larger and this Cherokee L version, reaching 5.2 meters in length and a wide wheelbase of 3.09 meters. On the other hand, the space in the trunk is 484 liters and by folding down the third row you can reach 1,328 liters of load capacity.

Going on to detail the interior of the new Jeep Grand Cherokee 2022, it is equipped with an 8.4-inch touch and optional 10.1-inch multimedia center with Uconnect 5 system, compatible with Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto. The instrument panel is digital with a 10.3 ″ screen.
Depending on the equipment level, it has accessories and specific functions. In the first step, the Grand Cherokee has a leather-wrapped steering wheel and for the exterior, 18-inch wheels. It is followed by the Limited version with an eight-way power driver’s seat.
In this same, the seats of the second row are heated, Alpine audio system of nine speakers and optionally you can choose 20-inch wheels. Higher up is the Overland tier, with 20 ″ wheels as standard, a two-speed active transfer case, and an electronic rear differential.
Now at the top of the range appears the Jeep Gran Cherokee L Summit, clearly the most equipped, with cooled front and second-row seats, and the first also with a massage. 19-speaker Mclntosh audio system and Active Driving Assist.
Mechanical aspects
Here it all starts with a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that has 290 horsepower and 348 Nm of torque. It can also be equipped with a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 with 357 horsepower, combining 528 Nm. Either one comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Two-wheel drive is offered as standard for both cases, but the full-wheel drive is available. It also has a Quadra-Lift adaptive air suspension system that provides 8.3 inches of ground clearance. It can be varied between two modes: Off-Road 1 and Off-Road 2.
It is speculated that the Jeep Grand Cherokee 2022will soon receive electrified properties to offer a plug-in hybrid system. This being the case, the European market would also be in their plans.
