These prototypes were seen in the Scandinavian peninsula during what could only be their winter tests, the tests in low-temperature environments, but since then we had not seen any of these camouflaged units of the only 4-door model of the Sant brand. ‘Agata Bolognese. Now not only do we find one of these units filming in Italy, but also this is the first time that we can see it in motion, as well as hear it.
Although the spy photos that illustrate this article belong to the sightings that took place at the beginning of last month in the Scandinavian peninsula, at the bottom of these lines we find the first video of the model, published recently and that has been recorded in Italy by Varryx, an Italian spotter who lives in the “Valle del Motor” area of Modena. So it is not surprising that he was able to hunt this test specimen, even though his work in the locality of Lamborghini’s greatest rival is better known, for the huge number of models and prototypes that he usually hunts in Maranello.
What’s new?
The specimen hunted in Italy seems to be identical to those that we were able to analyze several weeks ago in Sweden since it not only has the same vinyl camouflage configuration but also has the same new bodywork. These examples have small changes to the front and modified wheel arches that are better appreciated in the rearview, thanks to the new side grilles that the model carries.
On a mechanical level, some modifications are expected in the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that the model uses and that will increase the power slightly above the current 650 hp. Unfortunately, the prototype accelerates smoothly, allowing us to hear the roar of its mechanics. As for the transmission, it will continue to be available exclusively with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive system. Its presentation should be sometime in 2021, although for now, we do not know when it could be.
