To close the year with a flourish, Lincoln brings to Mexico the new Navigator 2022, a model that joins the portfolio update that we saw in other models of the family such as Aviator and Corsair.
The novelty for this model is that it comes in two new colors, metallic white and obsidian black, which reflect the new minimalist trend of the rest of the brand’s vehicles.
Visually we have a more attractive and imposing look, as well as new 22-inch wheels in a monochrome tone that elevate its elegant and outstanding personality.
“The monochrome design emphasizes the strength of the renowned Navigator line. It is a perfect color scheme for a luxury SUV, offering customers another way to personalize their new Lincoln SUV,” said Earl Lucas, Lincoln’s chief designer.
The same style is reflected in the interior of this Lincoln Navigator 2022, as the brand sought to adhere to a world that goes beyond the automotive, as the trend of following monochromatic color schemes has gained ground in other areas such as fashion and photography.
The firm assured that the use of one color in different variations has the potential to be more attractive than the use of multiple contrasting colors.
The vehicle arrives with the novelty of the new Phone As A Key technology, which is activated through the Lincoln Way App and allows opening, closing, and even starting the vehicle remotely. This same technology already has the Aviator and Corsair models.
In terms of performance, it is maintained with the same 3.5L V6 engine with 450 horsepower at, 510 pound-feet of torque and the Key-Shifter System, which allows you to control speeds through a series of piano-style buttons on the dash.
It also maintains the Lincoln Co-Pilot 360 suite of driver aids which includes: Auto High Beam System, Blis Blind Spot Detection with Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane Keeping System – Driver Alert and Assist, Brake Assist Emergency, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Anti-Collision Steering Wheel System, Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection and Rear View Camera.
