Mercedes EQE SUV Arrives up to 590 km range

Mercedes-Benz has presented the new EQE SUV, a 4.86 meter-long electric SUV called to compete in the E segment (executive SUVs) against models such as the Audi e-Tron, the BMW iX, the Polestar 3 or the Volvo EX90. This model sits on the EVA 2.0 platform, the same one that we can already find in the EQE, EQS, and EQS SUVs.

The firm of the star affirms that the EQE SUV is one of the most aerodynamic models in its category since it has a coefficient of just 0.25. From an aesthetic point of view, we could consider it a cross between the EQE sedan (headlights) and the EQS SUV (silhouette); not surprisingly, it has shared development with the latter. Its range of tires ranges from 19 to 22 inches.

Although as standard it incorporates 10.25-inch digital instrumentation and a 12.4-inch central touch screen, it can optionally be equipped with the gigantic MBUX Hyperscreen OLED panel, which covers the entire width of the dashboard and is made up of three screens (12-inch instrumentation .3 inches, 17.7-inch touch screen, and 12.3-inch co-pilot panel). The MBUX system integrates updates via OTA.

Unlike the EQS SUV, the new EQE SUV is exclusively available with five seats, as a version with seven is not contemplated. Its trunk covers 520 liters (1,675 liters with the seats folded down); In addition, it can tow between 750 and 1,800 kg depending on whether we opt for a rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive version.

The EQE SUV offers several levels of retention for the regenerative braking system, including one that is automatic and one that allows for so-called “one-pedal driving”.
