The fifth electric SUV of the star brand will arrive in 2023. It is the Mercedes EQE SUV. One of the models that have every sign of becoming one of the best sellers in its category, and the most efficient alternative to the Mercedes GLE. Models with a modern design that we anticipate in this recreation.
The Mercedes EQE faces the last phases of its test program, before its world debut at the Munich Motor Show, which will free up the engineers to dedicate themselves fully to the future Mercedes EQE SUV 2023, which has appeared camouflaged in an official image of Mercedes but has not started its tests in real traffic yet.
The Mercedes EQE SUV will be the fifth of the electric cars with this higher body type. One more alternative that will increase the range of the star’s more sustainable mobility, positioning itself at the level of the GLE, although with important differences. Of course, its design, which we anticipate in this recreation, and which will present the characteristic features of the Mercedes EQ models, with the very thin headlights accompanying the large, completely closed grille.

Behind, the one known internally as ” X294 ” will also have the headlamps extended across the width of the gate, although the side will be the differentiator with the EQS SUV, with a shorter wheelbase. A height that will allow having a wide interior space but only with five seats. This is the second major difference compared to the combustion GLE. The front space will inherit the modern dashboard released in the new S-Class, leaving in the optional equipment the sophisticated “Hyperscreen MBUX” system.

The model will follow the same line of the range, with a true arsenal of equipment among which there will be no shortage of different designs of aerodynamic alloy wheels or the active steering of the rear axle. Customers will be able to choose between two variants of turning the rear wheels, 4.5º or 10º, and even tow ball. Because the EQE SUV will have a towing capacity of up to 1.8 tonnes, one of the highest in its category, but we will not see a Camper style.
The Mercedes EQE SUV will debut in late 2022 and go on sale in late spring 2023, to be manufactured in Tuscaloosa, United States. It will come with different versions with one and two electric motors, rear propulsion, and 4MATIC total, and a lithium-ion battery with net capacities of 72 and 90 kWh, providing maximum autonomies of between 500 and 650 kilometers. The range will also feature two sporty versions, the AMG EQE 43 and AMG EQE 53.
