The Peugeot 4008 could return in 2022 like a crossover with 308 genes. We already know that about the engines, the interior, and the price!
With its namesake, which was offered in Germany between 2012 and 2015, the Peugeot 4008 nothing in common from 2022. The new model is being developed internally under the code P54. This should result in a crossover that will use the latest expansion stage of the group platform EMP2.
Our drawing shows what the new 4008 might look like. The similarities with the new 308 are not accidental: the compact model is also based on the EMP2. The front grille and exterior design line will be outside the tradition of the brand and the new design language will be used.
The LED headlights are made with the latest technology and look the same as the new 308. Ground clearance and length (Peugeot 308: 4.36 m) are greater on the 4008. The exterior design of the 4008 will be highly appreciated and if it is produced, it will be able to achieve sales success.
The parallels in the interior should become even clearer. We expect a small steering wheel with digital indicators on it in 3D optics, as is typical for Peugeot. The operating concept provides a centrally located 10.0-inch touchscreen and an outsourced touch bar with configurable areas. The latest technologies will be used in the interior and will not be much different from the newly released Peugeot models. An interior with the design lines of the brand awaits us.
Even if information about the Peugeot 4008 (2022) is still scarce: What the engine range will look like is already becoming apparent. The recently introduced 308 is once again a hint. The well-known plug-in hybrid with 225 hp and combustion engine with an output range of 130 to 225 hp is available as drives. An E variant of the Peugeot 4008 (2022) will follow.
