For all those who want to travel independently with a camper but do not want to forego the luxury of a 5-star hotel, there is the Renault Hippie Caviar Hotel Study. This is called new German “glamping” – luxury camping. The Hippie Caviar Hotel has a very expressive design and the basic structure comes from Trafic. With unmistakable two-tone paintwork, it is modern and classic at the same time, just like in the 1960s.

The Camper study is an all-electric van and has a lot of clever details to offer. A delivery drone that takes off into the open sky is included – and the Hippie Caviar Hotel study also gives an outlook on Renault’s VIP van models of the future. The basis is the first electric Renault Trafic, which will be available for the first time in 2022.

Inside you are enveloped by the charm of a luxury hotel, but at the same time, you get the camping flair in an upscale way. The cab comes with natural materials such as linen, wood, leather, and wool in a shade of green called “Almond Flakes”. In the rear area, a silver-gray dominates, which matches the lounge character of the furnishings.

A double bed measuring 145 x 195 centimeters is a mixture of pragmatism and luxury. You can sleep inside the cabin or move your sleeping place outside the vehicle. The tailgate can remain open while sleeping, so you have a touch of camping feeling, but are protected from bad weather and looks by curtains.

If you choose the “cozy” position, a small lounge-style seating area is created. You can also look at the starry sky by climbing onto the roof via a foldable external ladder and enjoying the roof terrace, which has space for a table and two armchairs.

If you want, you can also use the mobility service, where a logistics module with a wet room, sanitary facilities, and charging station is transported to the place where you stand with the Hippie Caviar Hotel. A concierge service can also be booked online, which then delivers the orders to the roof terrace by drone. It all sounds very crazy, but where the idea is, the implementation may not be far.
