Renault Kiger: Will arrive in Europe

The Renault Kiger is the new compact SUV designed in India and aimed primarily at that market. In a second phase, it will also be marketed internationally. Affordable and equipped with five seats, this robust SUV of fewer than 4 meters completes Renault’s offering in India, along with Kwid, Duster, and Triber.

The Kiger is inspired by the features of the Kiger show-car, which was unveiled at the end of 2020. The high ground clearance (205 mm) and the roof bars that enhance the vehicle completes its vocation as a rugged-looking SUV.

On the top finish, the 16-inch alloy wheels on the Kiger are black with a diamond finish for a slightly more elegant look. The wheel arch protections that surround them form large black arches that add strength and character to the bodywork. The long-wheelbase (2,500 mm) allows the wheels to be brought to all four corners of the vehicle for better stability on any type of road. This also contributes to interior space, comfort in each row, and a boot capacity unheard of in the segment.

The upper band formed by the grille and the LED daytime running lights positioned at the ends elevates the look of the vehicle. The indicators are integrated into the daytime running lights. The distinctive lower part breaks the bumper into two areas, with long corners incorporating the Pure Vision LED the main lighting. The latter consists of two blocks of three 100% LED headlights with a chrome reflector background.

The rear part is illuminated by LED lights with a new pattern. These light blocks on a glossy black background, truly modern and distinctive in the segment, draw Kiger’s double-C rear light signature.

This is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, to connect a smartphone and easily enjoy specific applications for driving and multimedia.
