BMW i7 to be sold in Spain from 137,900 euros

Although something had already been anticipated a few weeks ago, today BMW has officially confirmed the price of its new electric car. The i7 A representative sedan that is placed at the top of the German brand’s offer, and that in Spain will have a price that will start somewhat below what was previously announced.

The market launch of the new BMW 7 Series will take place this coming December with a range structured specifically for each market. The BMW i7 xDrive60, which is a 100% electric version, will be available worldwide as early as this year, while the plug-in hybrid version will arrive in 2023. Therefore, BMW has given more priority to the BEV model.

An i7 that wants to position itself as a flagship of the brand in a turn towards sedans after a time where SUVs have had all the attention. An exclusive and premium model that will arrive loaded with innovations to offer a superior driving or comfort experience on long trips.

BMW i7: features and price in Spain

Initially, a single version will be marketed, called  xDrive60. This model will have a drive train made up of two motors, which will provide total traction, a combined power of 400 kW (544 hp), and a torque of 745 Nm.

Equip a battery pack with a useful capacity of 101.7 kWh. Its maximum autonomy is 625 km under the European WLTP cycle  (in the United States it is satisfied with 483 km under the EPA cycle), and it can charge a maximum of 195 kW of power in direct current, recovering about 170 km WLTP in just 10 minutes.

In Spain, the BMW i7 xDrive60 will have two optional packs (M Sport and M Sport Pro), which will give it the added sportiness inherent in the models signed by M (the sports division of BMW), as well as a series of equipment additional. In our country, the i7 will start at 137,900 euros, which is just over 4,000 euros below what was previously estimated.
