Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV 2022 Revealed New Engine

The presentation of the fourth generation of the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV 2022 is already practically around the corner. Specifically, next Thursday, October 28, will be the day on which the world debut of this Japanese bestseller will take place through a streaming event, in which we will be able to know live all the news about the new hybrid SUV that will arrive in 2022.

After almost ten years with the third and successful generation of the Outlander in our streets, the Japanese brand has decided to renew the model giving it a very renewed and attractive appearance following the line of the Eclipse Cross and improving its technological section.

Your new traits

On its front, the new Mitsubishi Outlander has two very sharp optical groups in the highest part of its bumper that perform the function of daytime running lights. Under these, we find two large relatively circular headlights that are in charge of lighting the way.

On both sides of its grille, we find two chrome “C” moldings that enhance the modern and dynamic image of the new SUV. Finally, in the lower part of its bumper, we highlight an insert in an aluminum color that gives it a certain country touch.

From the side view, its floating roof, sharp lines, and new 20-inch wheels impress the character of the new model. Like a good SUV, its wheel arches have black moldings that visually elevate the whole, emphasizing its muscle and its capabilities.

Already at its rear, the new taillights in a sharp horizontal arrangement, its subtle spoiler, and its bumper with marked features complete the image of the new Outlander.

More technological and with large space

Leaving aside its exterior section, the new Outlander has a cabin that gives off a technological atmosphere, beautiful and with good finishes. Its black upholstered seats with orange stitching, orange trim, and armrests and its fully digital infotainment system and dashboard are responsible for this.

In addition, Mitsubishi has confirmed that both the gasoline version and the plug-in hybrid will have the possibility of equipping the third row of seats and can carry up to seven occupants inside.

At the moment, we only know that this fourth generation of the SUV will arrive in the Japanese market in mid-December and later in 2022 the American market, so we will have to wait to know if this new model will reach the old continent and if so, when will effect your arrival.
