Mercedes-Benz has announced that the Mercedes EQE 350 4Matic, Mercedes EQE SUV 350 4Matic, Mercedes EQS 450 4Matic, and Mercedes EQS SUV 450 4Matic will offer an annual payment of $1,200, or $100 per month, to unlock performance upgrades. In the case of EQE models (electric sedans and SUVs), thanks to this payment, they will go from having 290 CV to 350 CV. In the case of the Mercedes EQS, the power will increase from 355 CV to 445 CV. In both the EQE and the EQS, the firm ensures that the maximum torque is also increased “notably”, although they do not specify the concise figure.
According to the German company, this option improves the adjustment of the electric motors between 20 and 24 percent, depending on the model, and also improves its overall dynamics. All this will be included through the Dynamic driving mode that will be made available to the user who has unlocked this option.
