With the Polestar 3, a new generation of electric car architecture from the Volvo Car Group is also making its debut. For the first time, this is fully designed for electrification. Polestar 3 Prices and start of sales
The New 3 is still a long way from going on sale, but judging by the new teaser picture, the idea of the electric SUV shouldn’t be too far away. Worldwide production will begin in the USA in 2022.
As for prices, we can only speculate. Since Polestar belongs to the Volvo Group, we try to orientate ourselves on the Volvo models. The XC40 Recharge is available as a large SUV and the C40 Recharge as a crossover. We assume that it will be a larger model, similar to the XC40, which costs from 57,900 euros. The Polestar 3 is sure to be somewhere around this price.
Technical data and exterior design
Along with a new type of vehicle, a new electric vehicle architecture is also making its debut with the Polestar 3. This platform has been developed entirely for electric vehicles. Much is not yet known about the technical data, but the Polestar 3 will be very aerodynamic and have the latest connectivity functions. These functions should be based on the native infotainment system Android Automotive OS from Google.
In a car from the Volvo Group, safety features should of course not be missing. There should also be autonomous driving functions.

Unfortunately, as the teaser picture shows, you don’t see much. You can only see that the new electric SUV will be quite large and sporty. We can also assume that there will be clear lines and an elegant, restrained design in the style of the Swedish manufacturer.
Polestar 3 Engines and range
It is not yet known which engines will be available for the Polestar 3. The Volvo XC40 Recharge Pure Electric has a twin engine, there is all-wheel drive and an output of 408 hp. The range is 416 kilometers. These data can be used as a guide to the specifications of the Polestar 3. We’ll have to wait a little longer for official statements.
