The MG HS 2024 is a restyling of the model, which has focused on giving the C-segment SUV a more modern look and a more muscular aesthetic. The most relevant and notable in this model update is its new design for both the front and rear. for the rear, although it has also been updated with even more equipment that is included as standard. We already know what their official prices are, and it is once again considered the most relevant cheap option as an alternative to both the KIA Sportage and the Hyundai Tucson and also the Nissan Qashqai. At least until the new generation of the model hits the market, scheduled for the year 2025.
With its renewed design and even more complete equipment as standard
The MG HS 2024 repeats the range with Comfort and Luxury finishes, the first being the simplest and cheapest in its catalog. But it already comes standard with LED lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, power-adjustable, heated, folding outside rear-view mirrors, tinted glass, hill-start assist, and roof racks. In addition, this Comfort finish of the new MG HS 2024 includes a rain sensor as standard, adaptive cruise control with speed limiter, forward collision alert, and autonomous emergency brake.
As usual in the brand, the MG HS 2024 stands out for being much more complete in equipment than its rivals. In addition to all of the above, it also has a light sensor, blind spot alert, parking sensors, rear camera, lane change alert, rear cross-traffic alert, air conditioning, multifunction steering wheel with adjustments and leather finish, instrument panel 12.3-inch digital and multimedia system with a 10.1-inch diagonal touch screen compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, among many other things.

If we focus on the Luxury finish, its minimum price is 27,440 euros subject to financing. But already with a 360-degree peripheral vision camera, 18-inch wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic roof, electric adjustments for the passenger seat, electric tailgate, leather upholstery, and sports seats. The differences are not that there are too many, but it come even more complete in equipment.
The same 1.5 TGDi 162 CV engine is maintained for the new MG HS 2024, so in the mechanical section there is no difference. What must be remembered is that the previous MG HS has been selling for 21,790 euros in the case of its simplest version of the range. In other words, it is no longer as cheap as it was and is now dangerously close to the 25,930 euros that the KIA Sportage costs, at least, in its cheapest version.
